I'm looking for a the family of Charles and Bertha Wells who were listed as orphans in the Ripley County, Missouri 1900 census. I'm attempting to trace down the other Wells families in the area, hoping to find a connection.
Charles was born about 1893-1895 and he was living with Martha Jane(Salmon)Emmons in the 1900 census. Bertha was born about 1891 and she was living with the Charles Goetting family in the 1900 census.
Bertha later married Sam Benthall in Carter County and moved eventually to Clay County, AR. Charles married Lucinda Collins and moved to Butler County, MO. Any information would be appreciated.
