1854 March Term, Carroll Co Circuit Court, Vol B p 364: William Marshall vs Louisa Marshall } Divorce - Order of Publication in this cause (previous)
1854 March Term, Carroll Co Circuit Court, Vol B p 372: William Marshall against Louisa Marshall } Divorce - Now at this day this cause coming on to be heard in the presence of course for the plaintiff no one appearing for the defendant and although she was duly required by publication in a news paper published in this state to appear in this court and answer the bill of complaint on or before the 3rd day of this term of this court whereupon and upon the hearing of the bill read and the proofs in the cause it is ordered and decreed by the court here that said William Marshall complainant be divorced from the bonds of matrimony heretofore united unto by him with said Louisa Marshall the defendant and that the statutory restriction against the defendant marrying again be and the same is hereby removed and that the plaintiff pay the costs of this suit.
