According to census records they were in Hurricane TWP, so perhaps they are in that cemetery. I was just hoping that they would be in the main Hale Cemetery, or perhaps one or two of the family might have been buried there. My Great Grandfather always gave his birthplace as Hale, MO. I am especially interested in finding out if William Hurd (Great Great Grandfather) was buried in Missouri, around the end of 1870. The family departs about that time for Texas, and his wife is in an 1880 census in Texas as a widow.

Thanks so very much for your time and effort, if you need anything in Oklahoma, please, let me know.

Nalora
