Sorry, but I have not come up with the parents of Lilly May.

I did see any interesting article in the St Louis Republic Newspaper dated Jul 1 1892. Have you seen it? It states that at that time they had no children. It is headlined Poplar Bluff Mo and says that Ole K Hvam lived there on Coon Island. In the story Mrs Kvam orders the hired man to hitch up the team and take her away, which he did. The article concluded by saying that Mr Hvam was much distressed.

So, evidently Lilly May wasn't there in 1892. I suppose that his wife (Louisa Gossman whom he married 2/12/1889) did return.

Do you know when Lilly May came to live with them?
