John SHARP b1798 KY m Polly R. --?-- b1804 VA

Looking for the maiden name of my maternal ancestor, listed as Polly R. SHARP age 45 Virginia in the 1850 census of Yell County, Arkansas. Her husband, John SHARP, was listed in the 1830 census of Liberty twp., Madison Co., MO near his father Anthony and 2 brothers (Robert Looney SHARP and Spencer R. SHARP).

I believe John and Polly married in Missouri Territory between 1818 and 1821. There is no record of their marriage in Madison Co. (begins 1821). Nor are they listed in Book A of St. Genevieve Co. Perhaps they were in the part of the county taken from Cape Girardeau Co.? I don't know where Liberty twp. was, could someone tell me?
