wilson family

1850 census, Cape Girardeau, shows Jane Wilson, age 58, son, William B. Wilson, 20. 1870 Census shows william B. Wilson, 40, physician, married to Anna E. with several children. 1880 census shows William B. Wilson, 49, wife Anna E, with several children, including John W. D. Wilson, aged 5, our ancestor. 1900 census shows William B. Wilson, new wife, Louise I., married 10 years, son, John D. Wilson, 26, single, Lawyer. I haven't found this family again in Missouri. Trying to gather any information on why this family left Missouri. Cannot find John D (or W) for the year 1910 and 1920. He married about 1901, wife Alice maybe or Ina.

Thanks for any help or information on this family.
Frances Steele
