I thank you very much for the list of funeral homes in Callaway County,MO.
I am looking for a possible obit for my great grandfather
John James Foster born 8 Apr 1806 in Virginia died 2 Jun 1877 in Callaway Co.,MO.
He married first Sarah C Gilchrist in Prince Edward Co.,VA
He had 2 sons by her,she died after James F Foster was born.
John James Foster then married Mary Blanche Wallace( my greatgrandmother)they had 8 children,the last one my grandfather William Booker Foster born 23 Aug 1859, died 7 Mar 1944 in Boone County,MO. I grew up in Boone Co on Grandfather's farm.
The History book written by the fellow ,last name Rose is
in error as to John James Foster's marriages and children.
I am looking for a newspaper obit or anythingl that will tell me who my great grand father's parents are.
