OBITUARY: Mrs. Claude Pierson, AKA: Nannie Ella Branch, She died on 6 January 1960 Source: Newspaper article,Newspaper name is unknown Callaway County, Missouri ------------------------------------------------- Mrs Pierson Dies At Her Home Here; Rites On Friday Mrs. Claude Pierson, who had been ill for about a year and a half, died at 4 a.m. today at her home, 503 West Third street. She was a life-long resident of Callaway County. Funeral services will be held Friday aftermoon at 2:30 o’clock at the Maupin Funeral Home. The Rev. Theodore Mallinckrodt will officiate and burial will be in Callaway Memorial Gardens cemetery. Mrs. Pierson, the former Nannie Ella Branch, was born on August 4, 1885, a daughter of the late James D. and Belle Thompson Branch. On Oct. 12, 1903, she was married to Ernest Claud (Preacher) Pierson, who survives. Mrs. Pierson was a member of the Court Street Methodist Church. Surviving, in addition to her husband are a daughter, Mrs. Pearl Straker of Fulton; two sons, James L. Pierson, Kansas City; one sister, Mrs. Belle Buckner, Jefferson City; two brothers, S.W. Branch, Holts Summit and Luther Branch, Fulton; five grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. Notify Administrator about this message?
