From Land Patent records it looks like George and Thomas came to Callaway Co. in Oct. of 1840. Several marriages in 1850-60, probably their children. No John Bentley in patent records.
You can search some of this online at Callaway Co.'s mogenweb site
Type mogenweb in your address bar or browser(google)
Click on Callaway Co. icon on map
Will bring up site, click on enter
Brings up another page and go clear to the bottom and click
on search this site
brings up page with search box. just type in Bentley. Leave on site for selection. Will search the whole site and not just marriages, cemeteries.
