I am searching for my gr.gr.grandmother's family. Mattie (1 Feb. 1861 Caldwell County Missouri - 17 Jan. 1930 Cedar County Missouri) is the daughter of Walter A. Cheek (b. Orange County N. Carolina) and Edna Gilbert-Cheek (b. Caldwell County Missouri). Her children are Charles A. Fox, Mrs. Mary Engleman, Mrs. K.Y.Hurt, and Donald Cameron Paynter. She had 4 brothers and two sisters (no names) mentioned in her obit at the time of her death.
