James TIPPET was born Jan. 3, 1826 in Schuyler Co., IL, the son of Elijah TIPPET and Nancy LEE. He married Eleanor DAY in Schuyler county and had several children before moving to Caldwell Co., MO, where he was found in the 1870 census.

Clarabel, abt. 1865 (twins?)
William, abt. 1867
Charles, abt. 1869
George, abt. abt. 1872
Timothy?, abt. 1873 in Caldwell Co., MO
Roy, abt. 1875 in Caldwell Co., MO

James, Eleanor, George, Charles, and Clarabel are buried in Black Oak Cemetery, Caldwell Co., MO. Would like to find what happened to the remaining children.
