JAMES HENRY INMAN / HARRY HUFFMAN - 1910 CENSUS
Posted by: Amy Murphy (ID *****9198) Date: March 05, 2008 at 05:57:37

My great-great grandparents are James Henry Inman and Sarah Ann "Willie" McDonald. We have not been able to find them on the Butler County, MO 1910 census. I just found Willie and her three girls, LeDora, Pearl and Eliza living with Harry Huffman. It is noted that Willie is the wife of Harry and they all have the Huffman name.

Does anyone out there know anything about this Harry Huffman? Could it be a serious mistake on the part of the census-taker? Is that supposed to be James Henry Inman?

On the same census is a Henry Inman (all information fits) living in a boarding house belonging to Willie's mother. Grandpa Inman did go by the name of Henry.

Is my grandmother actually the daughter of Harry Huffman rather than James Henry Inman? If so, we've done 40 years of Inman research for nothing!!! Would love to hear from somebody out there! Thanks.
