Circuit Clerk charged with murder!

L.M. Henson, Circuit Clerk of Butler County,MO was the only survivor of a shootout that resulted in the death of his brother Riley Henson, William Heck and H.S. Adams. I was sent an abstract of the St. Louis paper which indicated it was in April, 1905. I checked the Poplar Bluff paper for that time period and found nothing. Since Henson was charged with first degree murder, I am sure it made the local papers. Estimates of Heck's age could make it as late as 1930 or 31. I don't know if Henson was convicted but it surely ended his political career. Can anyone tell me when he resigned or was removed or the date of death of Riley Henson or Adams. Heck is suposedly barried in Sparkman Cemetery but no stone is recorded.
