Qulin--William Lefate Creasy, 89, of Rt. 1, died at 7 a.m. Sunday in the Poplar Bluff Hospital.
Born March 11, 1882, in Tennessee. Mr. Creasy had been a long-time resident of Butler County. He was a retired farmer and a member of the General Baptist Church. In 1948 he married Susie Singleton at Piggott, Ark., and she survives.
Other survivors are: sons, Porter and Dosie Creasy, both of Qulin, and Dennis Creasy of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Flossie Pratt of Clarkton; stepsons, Bob Singleton of Granite City, Ill., and Lester Singleton of Trenton, Ill; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Mary Sue Sampson of Qulin, eight grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Methodist Church and burial will be in the Qulin Cemetery. The Landess Funeral Home at Campbell is in charge of arrangements.
