Black Ridenbaugh's
Posted by: BARBARA MEANS (ID *****5700) Date: February 18, 2011 at 09:28:01

Seeking information on Black Ridenbaughs living in St. Joseph Missouri around 1868 to 1910. Some of them are listed in the City Directory and some are listed as being buried in Sunbridge Cemetery. Question, were they slaves of Wm. Ridenbaugh family or was there another Ridenbaugh family living in St. Joseph who had slaves? In 1860 St. Joseph census there is listed three other Ridenbaughs, H. Ridenbaugh born PA, A. Ridenbaugh born Ill, and Y. Ridenbaugh born MD.

Thank you,
