Hi! Where in Kentucky did your Adams family move from to Missouri? My Adams family was in Henry and Fayette County Ky and another county but I went blank on the name. They moved to Bartholomew County In and lived there a while before moving to either Platte County Missouri or Buchanan County. They were still in IN in 1840 and had died by 1850
so I could not find them on a census of Missouri---unless John's wife Mary outlived him. I have not found her either. Her name was Mary (Polly) Clifford Adams.
We may be working on the same Adams family. Carol
