Seeking data on Elijah JOHNSON b. ca. 1830 TN, and his wife Mary Angeline DUCKWORTH b. ca. 1839 TN. She was the daughter of George Washington DUCKWORTH (1817-1855) and Eveline DODD.

They married 3 Sept 1857 in Cape Girardeau County, MO.

1860 census of Welch Twp, Cape Girardeau Co., MO (p.5):

Elijah Johnson        30
Mary Johnson        20
Louisa Johnson        1
Martha Johnson        2/12
Wm Duckworth        14
Jane Duckworth        12

On 1 July 1863, Elijah registered for the draft in Liberty Twp., Bollinger County, MO. He was a physician.

What happened to Elijah and Mary after 1863? Who were Elijah's parents, and where in Tennessee did he come from? Any help much appreciated.
