I'm looking for any information about my great-great-grandfather, Joseph Alexander Hibbs. Thanks in advance!!!

Following is a newspaper article from his hometown explaining his death in Bollinger County, Missouri:

A Sad Accident.

Mr. C. E. Poorman writes the editor of this paper under the date of June 4, 1882, as follows: "A man by the name of Joseph Hibbs, late of Marshall County, Indiana, was drowned in Castor River, Bollinger County, Missouri, June 3rd, about ten o'clock. While engaged in running logs down the river, he was on a single log which turned and let him under. We got him out about 3[?] o'clock. He leaves a wife and one child to mourn their loss."
