Homer Brown
July 19, 1979
Homer Lee Brown of Lutesville died Friday, July 13 at the hospital in Chaffee where he had been a patient for four days. Mr. Brown was born July 11,1900 at Scopus, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Brown. He married September 21, 1922 to the former Miss Ethel Lincoln who survives. Other survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Eugene (Theola) Barks of Marble Hill; one grandson, Ronnie Barks of Silva; two granddaughters, Mrs. Carolyn Kessler of Rock Falls, Ill. and Mrs. Donna Massey of Lutesville; 3 great-grandchildren, Eric and Kelly Massey of Lutesville and Brennecke Kessler of Rock Falls, Ill.; two sisters, Mrs. Ethel Bollinger and Mrs. Ida Stromatt of Cape Girardeau and his step father, George Propst of Lutesville. Mr. Brown was a tie buyer for many years for Keppers, Potosi. Gross amd Janes Tie Comapany. He retired 14 years ago due to ill health. Services were held Sunday at Baker Funeral Home. Burial was in Baker Cemetery.
