Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Ruben (I'll spell it correctly this time),

Elizabeth (Shearing) Crites Virgin would have been 66 or 67 in 1900, so that fits. If she was indeed August Barrett's aunt, that seems to close the loop for me and make me even more certain your Missouri Sherring was Moses and Drucilla Shearing's daughter Mary Shearing. If you can, post the census entries here. I'd be interested in seeing them.

Meanwhile, I'll root around and see if I can dig up anything else of interest.

Clete
