I'm not related but have info on many Cole Camp area German families, and may be able to help if you provide more details: When was your ancestor John born, or approximate age and time period? What was his wife's name?

Most of the Benton County Schumaker's were descendants of a Henry Schumaker 1820-1906 whose family came to USA in 1853.
