I am looking for any information on the Bushong family, the Cox family and the Barker family. In 1850 census James and Mary Bushong had several children listed with them some were children of John Bushong and Rebecca Hale I beleive. The Mary C. Bushong that was born in KY 1844 married Henry Cox born in ILL 1830. They had several children one is my ggrandmother Ida May Cox born 1875 in MO. Ida married Thomas Lawson Barker and they had three children Una Bell Barker born 1893 MO, Charles S. Barker born 1895 MO., and Snow Edith Barker born 1896 MO. Tom and Ida divorced sometime after the 1900 census. Tom and the children all ended up in Kansas City, MO. Una stayed there and Charles went to KS then to OK where he died in 1952. Snow went to OK with her husband Reg Durham and died there in 1966. The father Tom lived in K.C. for some years then went to Corpus Christi, TX and then to OK where he died in 1942. However after that 1900 census I can not locate Ida May Cox Barker. I have some picture with dates through 1935 and on one of them someone wrote Ida Portor. So I assume she remarried but still can not find her. On another picture it shows Charles and his landlady standing by a grave in Junction City, KS and says Charles and his landlady at grandmothers grave. So if anyone knows about my family members and would like to share. I would be grateful. Debra Simkin
