My relation is as follows: Jesse Clarence Haskins married Rachel Francis Shipp (the Shipps are related to Harry S. Truman by the way). Their child Velma Lenice haskins married Elijah C. Combs (briefly) but long enough to bear Farl D. Combs, my father. I have traced the Combs line back to England but I too have reached a dead end on Haskins. I will be visiting Velma Lenice's sister Alta Haskins Faubus (former wife of Governor Faubus of Arkansas) in Huntsville Arkansas this month and I hope to gain additional information which I will be happy to share. Do you have any additional information on John you can share with me?
I look forward to hearing from you. Kweeks58@aol.com
