Could you re-check the following:

It reads that Martha d. 1848 BUT was the wife of Preston who was b. 1852.

Martha E. Mullies, d. 14 Aug 1848, wife of Preston A.
Preston A. Mullies, b. 25 Apr 1852, d. 23 Apr 1903
