Looking for information on Edith E and Laura G Henson also their brother John Henson. These are three children of Abner F. Henson and Winnie Keturah (White) Henson. They came from Illinois, Shelby - Christian - Sangamon Counties with their father in 1886. Their mother was deceased. Abner settled in Foster, Mo where he died and is buried in the Salem Cemetery in Foster. Edith was a minor and placed in Foster care with a Harper family. She is living in their household in the 1900 census. She remained in foster care until she reached 18 at least. Laura Henson was of age when their father died in 1892. I suspect she married a Wheeler from the Pittsburg area but hae not been able to prove it. Other siblings in this family are Geroge B. Henson and Madora Florence O'Rear. George married a Maude Leonard and they are buried in the Salem Cemetery in Foster. Madora Florence married Marcus O'Rear, son of Elias O'Rear. Any information on Edith-Laura-John Henson would be appreciated. Peggy
