Is it possible to look in your book and see if you have a Sarah Mercer, died sometime in the 1880's, probably early part. She left two children oprhaned. They were boarders in the Vestal house in Richland Twshp, Barton Co., Mo. 1880 census. She would have been in her early 20's probably as she was listed as 20 yrs old on the 1880 census. Also listed as single, ? ever married/widowed/divorced. No info is known on her at all. Her two children were 4 and 2 yrs old on the 1880 census. She was born in Illinois as her oldest child also, younger one born in Missouri.
Any info would be greatly appreciated. She would have been my gg grandmother.
Thanks in advance,
Charlene Sinclair
Ware, Ma.
