From your message . I assume you have seen the death certificate, online. Allen is a difficult one to locate on the census records. I have tried all ways of spelling his given name as well as Eskridge. Besides the 1930 Barry Co. Mo. census, and the 1870 Henry Co. Ohio census, then aged 5, I believe I see him in 1880 Kansas, age 14

The mothers name seems to be wrong unless she had a middle name of Sarah. And the two boys born in Iowa is wrong.

Allen Smith Eskridge , was the son of Kendall Lewis Eskridge b abt 1803 Sussex Delaware, and Rosanna Shatzer. b Henry Co. Ohio, (age 37 in 1870), and grandson of George Washington Eskridge b 23 Mar 1770 Del., died 11 Sep 1858 Del, and Sabrina Bryder b abt 1782, died 25 Dec 1853.
