Hello Vicci,

My GG grandfather was Judge James Kelly of Newton County MO.

His homestead was south of Fairview with a Rocky Comfort mailling address. He and family came from Perry County, TN to Newton County MO. in 1851. James and his wife (Mary Ann "Polly" Randel) had 13 children. My G grandfather (George Riley Kelly) was the first child born in Missouri in 1853. An older brother's name was Amos Kelly (Named after "Polly",s father. They had descendants in Corsicca, Cassville, Exeter, Wheaton, Rocky, Fairview, Monet, ... I lie in Granby.

I have a very large file going back to Judge Jame's Kelly's G grandfather from Dublin Ireland in 1751 with a Quaker Group to South Carolina, then to VA, then to TN, then as above, my line to Newton County MO.

Wheaton's 100th Birthday, this year 2007, published a book "Wheaton Echoes" that has several articales about my Kelly family & mention many relative names, Lamberson, Fry, Duncan, & others from the SW Missouri.

I would love to get email addresses of my Kelly "cousins", yours & any others.
