I am looking for any information on my line of Depew's and Taylor's in Barry County. Here is my line; Grandmother, Agnes G. Taylor b. 3 Feb. 1903, Madry d. 26 May 1953, Barry Co. m. Bert A. Kring of Cassville b. 3 Feb 1903, Cassville, d. 28 May 1933, place of death unknown, both are buried in the Kring Plot in Oak Hill Cemetery, Cassville, with my mother Betty Jean Kring and my father Ervin Richard Maxwell>Sarah Eva Depew b. 25 Aug 1882 somewhere around Purdy/Butterfield d. 20 Nov 1971, Monett m. Leonard Taylor of Barry County, I have no information about him, other than our family Bible which lists him as Leonard Taylor, brothers Willard & Ralph, sisters Etta & Nettie (twins, Etta married Sarah Eva Depew's brother William Henry Depew), other sisters Bessie & Linda. I have no more information for him. I would like his parents, etc.> Eli Henry Depew b. Oct. 1849, Dade County Mo. d. 1930, Granby, Newton, Co. Mo. m. Sarah E. Mcguire of Tenn. Eli died while visiting his son, William H. Depew in Granby. The weather was so bad, they could not return him for burial in Barry County, where they lived somewhere around Purdy/Butterfield. He was buried in the Granby Cemeter. His wife Sarah E. died in Barry County in 1899. I would very much like to know the location of her grave.
Also, I have information, pictures etc. of my Maxwell line. I was born in Monett, my Father Ervin R. Maxwell b. in Stotts City, his father Wallace Weaver Maxwell b. in either Barry or Stone County, I would like to know for sure which. His Father David Harvey Maxwell of Indiana, d. Stone County, his father and mother John Maxwell and Mahala Widdle, d. Barry Co. buried side by side at Mineral Springs.
I am having a very hard time finding out about his parantage, other than I know they were Bazel and Nancy. John was born in Wayne Co. Kentucky and came to Barry County before his son David Harvey came to join him.
