There were 12 families from Allen, Hopkins and Lawrence County, Kentucky that settled in the late 1830's to mid 1840's that part of Lawrence County then known as Barry County. These 12 families included BOUCHER, Bright/Brite, Cagle, Hewlett, MANN, Moody, Morris, Pruitt, Schooling, Spilman, Woods and WORMINGTON. There is a Reunion held each fall that celebrates the ancestry of these original families and sends newsletters and e-mails to all related descendants.

If you'd like more information about the Boucher, Mann, Wormington lines, contact me at your convenience.
