I am looking for information on William Winston Williams (abt 1813-1891) who owned a large farm in Mexico, Audrain County. In the 1840's, he started a carding factory in Mexico. In the 1860's, W.W. and his wife, Milded M. Armstrong, moved to Kansas City where they died. They left a son, John Virgil Williams (1843-?), in Audrain. He became the city clerk of Mexico. J.V. was married Mary Malvina Collivar. They had four daughters (Sarah Leona, Mildred Beulah, Margaret Pearl, Alma L.) and three sons (William Collivar, Edward Vest, Virgil A.). J.V. died sometime between 1900 and 1910. Does anyone have any further information or vital statistics on these families?
