I was wondering where you found the daughter named Isabella for James Berrey & Elizabeth Finks? Information I have received from Berrey descendants who have lived all their lives in the Audrain Co area, don't list Isabella as a daughter. I have an Isabella Berry who married Capt. John Forsythe in Monroe Co MO on 24 Nov 1842, Bk A pg 169. I believe this Isabella Berry was a daughter of a Robert Berry.

Son, John Jefferson Berrey went west & died there.

Also I wonder if you know where the middle name of Lewis came from for James Berrey? On the Madison Co VA marriage index, he is listed as only James Berry, no middle initial.

My line comes down from Henry Lewis Berrey & his 1st wife, Nancy Goodnight. I am willing to share info.

Hope this helps.
