In the 1937 "Audrain Centennial History" there are numerous Quisenberry references.
p. 103; "as early as 1867, C.T. Quisenberry located here, introducing intO the county, from Kentucky, the horse known as Missouri Clay"
p. 36; C.T. Quisenberry listed as a first director of the Mexico National Savings Bank, formed as a joint stck company, 1867.
p.137; C.T. listed as a director of the school system 1870,1871,1872,1873.
p. 62"lawyers who came to Mexico during the(Civil)war and soon after...After these came..Colby T. Quisenberry.."
p.63 "Colby T. Quisenberry was a man of ability and high character, but was better known as a businessman. While a member of the bar he left little to show that he was a successfly attorney, and soon left for the west where he engaged in his profession successfully"

Lola Mae Powell was also listed as a member of the UDC
I hope this is of some use to you. Julie
