Seeking information on Frank 'Hank' B. Powell who was said to have been born in Vandalia, Audrain Co., MO, Dec 9, 1903. He lived in the Hiawatha, Ks. area for at least 22 years, before he passed away in 1988. I met him about 1966 when I started working as a farm hand where he was the general fix-it-all person. Though he lived alone he was a kindly gentleman with a bright spirit & a kind heart. He was very good at fixing things. He was also a good car mechanic & in the 70's and 80's worked on them for a living, in his own shop, until a January evening when he passed away of heart failure, as he lay on a concrete floor beneath a raised automobile. He's buried in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Hiawatha, Ks. I'd like to know where his parents are buried and whether he was once married and had children.
