Two of my grandfathers worked there. One of which died but the other one loves to talk and would give you all the information you need, he's lived in Mexico since he was born. Also, could I get a copy of those pages you have (can you scan them?) You see my grandfather that passed away came home from WWII to work at the Refractories. I do have a little bit of information I can help you with though. The Brick plant (Refractories) were not owned by J.P. Arthur but by A.P. Green, I am not sure when the plant closed but it was not in 2001, my grandfather knows just about everything you'd like information on, if you'd like me to get you in contact just let me know.
