According to her death certificate filled out by her daughter 21 Jan 1935, Ida Oleva Searcy was born 12 May 1875 in Marysville, Missouri to Alex Searcy and Oleva Bean. All of the census reports say she and her parents were born in Iowa, not Missouri. She married George W.Bowman in about 1895. He was born 16 May 1876 in Iowa to Charles E. Bowman and Alice Jackson. I have some information on his family, but the information on George and Ida and her parents is sketchy. George and Ida are found in the 1900 census in Goodwill, Roberts, South Dakota, indexed Branan. They are in Minnesota for 1910 and 1920 and I can't find them in 1930, nor can I find the Searcys anywhere. All four of George and Ida's children were born in Missouri and I know their daughter Alice was born in 1907 in Tarkio, so that may be where George and Ida got married. Is anyone familiar with these areas and the records available or with these surnames?
