LDS records list a definate death date for Thomas Love HOLLAND in 1868 Rockport Mo. I am wondering about Sources for this date as well as the proof that Thomas Love HOLLAND son of Lydia WARREN and Benjamin HOLLAND is father of Nelson Holland b 1840 Tenn. I have found Thomas L Holland b 1812 in Grainger Co Tenn 1850 with wife Eliza (Nelson?) and child Nelson b 1840 (and others... there is a Nelson surname family living next door in 1850) Nelson is with Thomas and Eliza in Jamestown Mo 1860 Along with brother Columbus b. 1854 . Nelson is a confederate soldier in the Civil war and his mother dies 1867-70. Thomas remarries Mary A by 1870 and is then found in Warsaw 1870 Benton CO Mo (with Columbus b 1854) and finally 1880 in Camden CO Mo (with Columbus b 1854) . He is still alive for the 1890 vetran census in Camden Co Mo where he reports he was also a civil war vet. I have not found a burial date or place. Can anyone shed light on this mystery?
I have some Holland info as they connect to my Christians in Atchison CO Mo.
