Thank you! I didn't have a wedding date. I have found census listings for this couple, but no mention of a son John Terrell/Turl. It seems changing the spelling of last names was a family hobby on many branches of my tree.
I have a journal written by a woman who would have been Jane's neice who writes that her aunt (unsure if it is Jane) married a Turl and had a son John Turl and lived in Savannah, MO. The dates and location fit, but I can't find a son John. Of course, he may have been born much earlier than the 1860 census and already moved out by that time.
Every little bit of info helps and I do so appreciate this tip. Thank you again. Nancy
