I am looking for information about Epenetus Munger, b. c. 1806, possibly in Rensselaersville, Albany Co., NY. An LDS/IGI source lists him as the son of Abraham/Abram Munger (1775-1852) and Phoebe Hopkins(1773-1848) who appear to be buried in Lebanon, Madison Co. The same LDS source lists other children as: (all births "Of Rensselaarville, , Albany, New York")
1. Fanny Munger Female Birth: 06 AUG 1797 Death: 04 MAR 1826
2. Jemina Munger Female Birth: 13 FEB 1800 Death: 20 AUG 1827
3. Erastus Munger Male Birth: 21 MAY 1802 Death: 01 APR 1895
4. Eliza Munger Female Birth: About 1804 (no further information)
5. Ephenetus Munger Male Birth: About 1806 (no further information)
6. Thankful Munger Female Birth: About 1809 Death: 1871
7. Harvey Munger Male Birth: 16 FEB 1812 Death: 01 MAY 1862
8. Lemuel Munger Male Birth: 1814 (no further information) [SEE BURIALS BELOW]

Some of the above information is consistent with cemetery information on the Madison Co., NY, website for Randallsville Cem., Lebanon, Madison Co., NY:

http://www.rootsweb.com/~nymadiso/rndlsvlc.htm

Munger, Sernantha, consort Erastus d. 23 Jan 1836 ae 33yr [not in the LDS information]
Munger, Lemuel, son Abraham & Phebe d. 29 Sept 1832 ae 18yr
Munger, Abram d. 25 Nov 1852 ae 77y4m
Munger, Thebe, wf Abrahan d. 16 Nov 1848 ae 75y6m20d

By 1850 Epenetus and wife Caroline and family are in Dodge Co., WI, and 1860 - 1880 in Platte Twp., Andrew Co., MO.

I believe Epenetus married my relative, Caroline Andrus, daughter of Richard and Delight (Roberts) Andrus who lived in Madison Co., NY, c.1810-1835. In Richard Andrus' 1875 probate, his daughter, Caroline Munger, is living in "Empire Prairie," Missouri.

Would like to correspond with anyone who has information about Epenetus, Caroline, Richard, or any of the Munger family.

Cornelia Andrus
