Hi,

I am researching an Andrew County resident of the early 1850's named Joab Spencer. He was a minister for the Methodist Episcopal South Church in MO in the early 1850's and later became an Indian Missionary in Kansas.

I am hoping to correspond with any decendents regarding his career. I am doing historical research in conjunction with the Kaw Methodist Museum in Kansas.

I have already contacted the United Methodist Archives and the State of Missouri Historical Society.

I will be glad to share what info I have.

I am researching the 1867-1868 time frame.
