The Conway/Conrad born in 1869 was named after his father, Conrad, who was born in 1807. Flora is the 1807 Conrad's wife and the 1869 Conrad's mother.

In 1860 I found:

Year: 1860; Census Place: Breckenridge, Putnam, Missouri; Roll: M653_641; Page: 0; Image: 544. PO St. John

Conrad Mulenix 53 Va
Florence Mulenix 37 Va
Joseph Mulenix 21 Va
Noah Mulenix 19 Va
William Mulenix 17 Va
Isaac Mulenix 14 Va
John Mulenix 12 Va
Harvey Mulenix 9 Va
Permelia Mulenix 6 Iowa
Abraham Mulenix 5 Iowa
Mary Mulenix 3 Mo
Martha Mulenix 2 Mo
Peter Mulenix 2/12 Mo

Given that,

U.S. Census > 1870 United States Federal Census > Missouri > Putnam > Liberty, PO: Martintown

Mullenix, C, 62, farmer, W. Va (wrong, but telling - he was born in a county that later BECAME WV.)
----, F E, 42, E. Va
----, P. A., 16, F, Iowa
----, H (?), 20, M, E. Va
----, A., 15 M, Iowa
----, Ma, 12, F, Mo (as are the rest)
----, A. J. (?), 8, F
----, M *, 7, F
----, J E or S E, 4, F
----, C, 2, M
----, C E, 3/12ths, F

so, unless they moved to Sullivan County after 1860 and back to Putnam for the 1870, those "Sullivan County" birth places over on Roots Web World Connect are wrong. They don't have all the kids, either.

You might compare your notes and my census entries (here and in my other reply) with the people on RWWC who have Conrad and Flora. You might also poke around in the US Gen Web site, the GenForum county board and the Ancestry board for Putnam County.
