October 30, 1850 Census records for Mercer County, PA confirm Henry BARNHART 45 (b. Abt 1805) and wife Hannah 42 (b. Abt 1808) with 9 children. Listed are William 20, Henry 19, Isaac 17, **John S 16, Mary Ann 14, Susanna 13, **Samuel 10, **Abraham 8 and **James 4. Henry's (and son William's) occupation is listed as a drover.

By the 1860 Census, most members (those designated with **) of this same family are listed in Adair County, MO_ Salt River. The 3 older sons evidently remained in PA.

The June 2, 1870 Census for Adair County, MO lists Henry (65) and Hannah (60) with their youngest son James 25 in Wilson Town.

Over 30 years researching Barnhart families of PA and am desperate to find confirmation of the origininal family group for Henry and Hannah.
