Michele, I am still trying to think this through. Family records say James Harvey Palmer was born in Paris, Bourbon Co., KY May 16, 1816 (CW record). Also that he was buried in Marion Co., KS, died Aaugust 13, 1903. Also these records says died in Gibbs, Adair Co., MO.

He had remarried a much younger woman, and died in Gibbs. I can not beleive that the two names are coincidenally the same. Would you know if you have any GAR records there that might clear this up. I just can't accept the family records. I think that they were wishful thinking. Do you have any suggestions. I have tried writing the church, paid for an unreadable obit, and I am out of ideas. Thanks, Florence Palmer Herring
