It seems like you could gather more information to find out if they were born in Norway or here. If you look at the census of 1920, it says how long they have been in the USA.
YOu could find an obit on them from Granite Falls perhaps.

Do the middle initials stand for the Norwegian patronym? A for Andersen or Arnesen or whatever? M for ?
Hagen and Sather are farm names.
Lennie is also on the Social SEcurity death index, and you could send for the photocopy of her original application.
