Margaret Kennedy Larson Savage of St. James was the widow of Peter Larson when she wed Joseph Savage in St. James, 1896. He says they're divorced in 1900 census, but Watonwan County court action on a property question in 1901 states each is trying to divorce the other. What happened to her after this? Unfound in any Minnesota census. Her first husband had had her committed to insane asylum in St. Peter for five months, 1894-1895. Committal proceedings say she had seven children, but only three have come to light: John, Alphonsus and Martha, who married George Barge in 1895. Margaret was born in Ireland about 1850, children in England, first husband in Norway. I would like to know what happened to Margaret and to her daughter, Martha Barge. No death record for either in Watonwan County.
