Looking for information about Herman C. Albrecht and his wife Elsie (maiden name unknown), from Afton, MN.
My grandfather, Carl Janke, stayed with them in Afton circa 1906, although he was from Fall Creek, Wisconsin.
Carl Janke was confirmed in St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Afton on 8 April 1906.
From the 1920 Census and cemetary records, Herman and Elsie were married circa 1908. They had at least three children (Lucille, Lester and Edwin) in 1920.
Would like to know Elsie's maiden name,any information about Carl Janke's stay in Afton, MN, or anything more general about Jankes in Washington County.
