I am researching the Thorsten Johnson family from Gordon Twp. His wife Mali is related. It gets kind of confusing from there. I am not sure if her mother, Ingeborg was married twice, or the children just changed their names when they came over. The names Gilseth and Eggen are involved, but I am not quite sure how. I have Daniel Larson Gilseth listed as the husband of Ingeborg Torstensdatter (b. 09/01/1821 in Norway). Their daughter Anna Martha Eggen married my great grandfather, Iver Olson

I have Ingeborg Torstensdatter also listed as being married to Johannes Kluxdahl. John Kluxdahl in the Gordon Twp., 1900 Census. This pair is listed as Mali's parents.

Also looking for Torsten and Mali's children. I have a Dan, Johanna, and John listed, but no birthdates or families. Of the next 5 children, Marit, Peder, Ingeman, Thorwald, and Lewis, I only have additional info or Thorwald. I have his wife listed as Olga and children, Martin, Evelyn, and Lillian.

Since you are a Johnson with roots in Todd County, I thought you might have run across the Johnsons while doing your research.
