Offer to help document genealogical information in Todd County

My family came from Little Sauk, Long Prairie, and Gordon Townships of Todd County. I have been trying to do research long distance as I live in North Carolina. I have found there is little to no online resources to Todd County. Luckily have made contact with some individuals who had some of the information I was looking for.

I have had little problem getting information from Norway as they have a lot of their information listed online. My wife, who is researching in VA, WV, PA, OH, etc has an endless supply of information available online from books, census, cemetery indexes, biographies, etc to assist her. Therefore I feel it is a shame that Todd County does not have anything similar to other counties or other states and nations.

I would like to assist if at all possible. Being too far away, it would not be advantageous for me to host a site, but I would be more than willing to transcribe books, documents, cemetery records, etc if anyone would send me copies of the documents, photos, audio tapes, whatever. Everything would be put into word, txt or PDF files or even scanned into picture files if need be. If anyone knows of any person or organization that would be interested in starting such an endeavor, I would be happy to contribute whatever I could. I am very computer literate.

There are many free sites through rootsweb, genweb, and others where information could be posted. I would like to repay the kindness shown in helping find information for me. One way would be to get information out on the web where others can find that information. So far letters to newspapers, historical societies, etc have been negative in that I have received no replies. Any help, ideas, etc appreciated.
