The following is a news item found in the August 15, 1902 Melrose Beacon, Melrose, Minnesota:
News has just reached here, in a letter to Mrs E C Richmond, of the death July 13, of Mrs Donald B McDonald, at Chelan, Wash., of St Vitus dance. She was the wife of D B McDonald, editor of the first paper published in Melrose, and their home was in San Pedro, Cal.
