Edward Lietzau (b 1852 Germany) met/married Amelia Ott (b 1863 Prussia), the daughter of Frederick and Wilhelmina (Seemann) Ott, at Sibley Co, Minnesota. According to family lore, Amelia (Ott) Lietzau died in March 1896 after the birth of her 11th child.
In 1900, widower Edward Lietzau was living at Bismark Twp, Sibley Co, MN, along with five children: Alma, Pauline, Charles, Wilhelmine, and Robert. What became of the other six LIETZAU children??
